Sandro Micallef

Sandro Micallef who is one of the directors of the company has been involved in the broadcasting industry for the past seven years. At the age of 16 he had a spell with Smash TV’s newsroom. Then he moved to Bay Radio were he worked in the radio’s newsroom for two years.

Later on he was contracted as a freelance contributor with Media.link Communications were he produced and presented various sports programmes amongst others: Net Sports Round Up, Warm Up, Sports Special, Replay and Net Stars. He also produced and presented a Formula 1 TV show called OverSteer for Melita Cable PLC. Sandro Micallef was also a finalist for the Best Programme Award organized by the Broadcasting Authority in 2000 with Net Sports Round Up. He then managed to win this Award in 2002 with the programme Replay.

Currently he is employed as Sports Coordinator of Melita where he is responsible for the direction, coordination and commentaries of the BOV Premier League games which are screened live of the Sports Channel. Mr. Micallef has always been considered a guarantee for the quality of Maltese language used during all productions and other audio-visual contributions.
